Our Story

A Global Perspective, Rooted in Lake Norman

Vic and Amy Petrenko are luxury real estate advisors specializing in waterfront estates and luxury homes throughout Lake Norman, Charlotte, and Lake Wylie, North Carolina. As founders of The Petrenko Group with Premier Sotheby's International Realty, they represent discerning buyers and sellers seeking exceptional properties.

Their perspective is shaped by a truly global life of leadership and service. Vic, a retired U.S. Army Brigadier General, and Amy spent decades living and serving around the world through military assignments, completing 16 relocations with their children, including three moves during their children's high school years.

Despite those frequent moves, their children went on to attend Princeton University, Harvard Business School, Purdue University, and the UNC School of Medicine — an experience that gives Vic and Amy a deep personal understanding of the complexities families face when relocating and navigating major life transitions.

Today, they bring that global perspective to the Lake Norman and Charlotte luxury real estate market, pairing deep local knowledge with the international reach of Sotheby's global network, connecting exceptional properties with qualified buyers around the world.

Known for their integrity, discretion, and strategic negotiation, Vic and Amy guide clients through complex transactions with the professionalism and precision expected in the luxury market.
